Privacy Policy — ExpenseAI

ExpenseAI ("we", "our", or "the app") is operated by DJUMP, MB, a company registered in the Republic of Lithuania. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use ExpenseAI.

1. Information We Collect

2. Financial Data

ExpenseAI processes financial information including expense amounts, currencies (THB, IDR, VND, PHP, MYR, USD), spending categories, and budget limits. This data is:

Stored securely with row-level security (RLS) ensuring only you can access your own records
Used exclusively to provide expense tracking, categorization, and budgeting features
Never shared with third parties for marketing, advertising, or data brokering purposes
Never used for credit scoring, lending decisions, or any form of financial profiling

3. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect payment or credit card information. All subscription payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) through RevenueCat.
We do not collect or access your bank accounts, credit cards, or any external financial accounts.
We do not collect precise location data. Currency detection is based solely on the text you type.

4. How We Use Your Information

To provide core app functionality (AI-powered expense categorization and tracking)
To authenticate your account and sync data across devices
To store your expense history and budget settings for your reference
To send push notifications you have opted into (budget alerts, daily reminders)
To calculate spending totals, category breakdowns, and budget progress
To generate CSV exports of your expense data when you request them
To analyze anonymous app usage and improve the user experience

5. AI Processing

Your expense text descriptions (e.g., "Coffee 45 baht") are sent to our AI service via Supabase Edge Functions solely to extract structured data (amount, currency, category, description). These descriptions are not used for AI model training. The AI-generated categorization results are stored in your personal expense records and are only accessible by you.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase with row-level security (RLS), meaning only you can access your own expense records, budget settings, and profile data. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your financial information. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.

7. Third-Party Services

Supabase — Authentication, database hosting, and Edge Functions for AI categorization
OpenAI — AI expense categorization (via server-side Edge Functions; your data is not shared directly with OpenAI for training)
RevenueCat — Subscription and payment management
Mixpanel — Anonymous usage analytics
Apple / Google — OAuth sign-in providers and payment processing
Resend — Delivery of messages sent through the website contact form

8. Data Retention

Your expense records and budget settings are retained for as long as your account is active. Free tier users have access to 30 days of history within the app, but all data is retained server-side. When you delete your account, all associated data (expenses, budgets, profile information) is permanently deleted.

9. Your Rights

You may request to view, update, or delete your personal data at any time. You can export your expense data to CSV from within the app (Premium feature). You can delete your account directly within the app under Settings, which permanently removes all your data, or contact us at start@djump.io.

10. Children's Privacy

ExpenseAI is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by updating the effective date above.
